Boys in Blue Cemetery Tour

Maplewood Memorial Lawn Cemetery is the final resting place for many Civil War veterans. Explore the lives of these boys in blue before, during and after the war as part of the “Boys in Blue Cemetery Tour” presented by the Lyon County History Center.  The tour will include information about the history of Memorial Day, the G.A.R. Memorial, the Old Soldiers Plot and several grave sites.  This event is open to the public and admission is free. Tour begins on the east side of the cemetery off of Lincoln Street.
